Seven days. That's how long Candy.ai gives you the full unlocked build before the meter starts running, and it's more generous than most of what I've tested in this category.

You build a companion by picking ethnicity, body type, personality, voice, and hobbies, then talk to her through text that actually evolves. Once you want more than words, you can generate images of her in different outfits or scenes, request voice messages, or pull up short video clips where she moves and reacts. During the trial none of that is gated. Once it ends, monthly token allowances take over, covering a mix of chat, voice, and media generation, and heavy users burn through them fast the moment video or detailed images enter the picture. Payment runs through major cards or several cryptocurrencies, with billing discreet enough that it won't out you on a statement.

The memory actually holds up

What got me was how the memory system tracks across interaction types. Build rapport through a chat session, then switch to generating a cosplay image that references something you said twenty minutes earlier, and the AI keeps the thread without you re-explaining it. Customization spans Latina and MILF-style companions, trans characters, and a wide range of fantasy roleplay. Cosplay works through outfit and scenario prompts rather than a dedicated toggle. Realistic looks are the default strength; anime-influenced styles exist but take a back seat compared to platforms built specifically around that look. Video and voice are the layer most text-only AI companions still lack.

One genuine criticism: the token economy. Even with a paid subscription, video or high-resolution image requests eat through your allowance quickly, and the burn rate gets aggressive fast if you're treating this as an always-on companion instead of occasional entertainment. The trial week makes that easy to miss, because for seven days none of it costs anything extra.
